The Sandbox!!!

Courtney and Nash watching grandpa.

Had to put this one in of pretty Miss Drew!
Our daughter Courtney has been asking Randy to come build a sandbox for the kids since it got nice enough to go outside this Spring. Well we finally got time for all of us to got to Menard and figure out what we needed. Courtney figured out what size she wanted and Randy did the rest. This has got to be one of the biggest sandboxes I have ever seen and the kids love it! It is 12 feet X 12 feet and so far is big enough for everyone to play in. What was just as fun as watching the building of this thing was a surprise visit from the sandman courtesy of grandpa goat aka Homer. Courtney had just mentioned in passing that she now had to fill the sandbox with sand now that it was done and 2 days latter here come a guy with not one load of sand but two! What an awesome day, the kids haven't stopped playing in it yet!

Father's Day or Crazy Day?

My husband is a freak, obsessed, crazy, you name it he is nuts about Father's Day and here is a  photos to prove it. These notes were not found just laying around, oh no, that would be too simple! The father of my girls spent an hour after everyone went to bed to write these notes and hide them in random places for our daughter Megan to find the next day! The first one she found stuck to the bottom of her foot after she got up to go to the bathroom, apparently he had slipped it under her bedroom door! The next one was on the bathroom mirror, on to the kitchen, another one on her computer and the refrigerator. Later that day I get a text from Meg that she found one in her purse and one stuck in the seat of her jeep! The man is crazy! But he does love Father's Day!!!!
