Casey's Kitchen

Day before Casey's wedding shower.

The double cabinet to the upper left, Jacob found the doors along the road waiting to be picked up by the garbage pick up. I took them and sanded them a little and just re stained them. Randy built a cabinet to put them on. The tile for the back splash was done by Casey and Jacob....very, very nice!

New lites above the island and the sink.

Countertop is all solid surface, any scratches can be sanded out.

Bathroom with wall paneling.

Casey and Jacob completely gutted this bathroom and did a beautiful job on it. Randy did the wood paneling and Chris did the electrical.

All new crown molding around the ceiling, new trim around the doors and windows, new base trim around the floor and a new glass door going out into the front porch.

This has taken me way too long to post but here it is, finally! Casey's house has been a work in progress for about a year or two. It started out to just be a kitchen remodel until we went over one day to see that she had decided to take out the wall in between the kitchen and the living room. And yes it does open it up very nicely, but it also added a lot more work....filling in hole in the floor and ceiling that the wall took out and made it lots more obvious that the whole place needed new trim around the windows, doors and long the floor. And it didn't stop there either! One day Randy goes over and Casey decided that she wants to gut the bathroom and redo that also! Randy was NOT pleased at all! There was a lot of "Do NOT mess with any more rooms in this house until you get the other ones done or I will NOT help you put them all back together!" So to make a long story short and to not linger on all the tears that were shed(Casey's, because her dad insisted she help with all of it) it all got done....and just in time for her wedding shower. Everything turned out really nice. The tiling was done by Casey and Jacob. They put the tiles for the back splash in the kitchen and Jacob did the shower and the floor in the bathroom and it all looks beautiful! So it was a long process and I've tried to include a few before pictures of what it looked like just a day before the shower, hope you enjoy!
