I've done this a few times in the past and it's always fun to see what the weather was a few years ago this time of year.

This year 2014, the one day that was warm enough to snowshoe...so far! Still hoping to get out there again!

Rare Warm Day

It has been brutally cold here in Wisconsin, I'm talking -20 some degrees! So when the sun is out and the temps get up to the 20's it actually feels warm out! So the kids took advantage of it and took the little ones sledding!

. This Winter is only into January and it already seems too long! We have a lot of snow....and it's still coming, bitterly cold temps.....-24 and that was without the windchill! I really do enjoy Winter when the temps are in the high 20's or more but those days seem to be few. So the pictures today are me playing with my macro lens. We did go snowshoeing over the weekend but for some reason the scenery just wasn't great...ok but kind of blah. So above are some pictures of my Xmas cactus.....a late bloomer but pretty!
