The Boys!

I hate to say I have favorites because I adore and love all my grandchildren, but this guy has a very special place in my heart. Not sure but maybe because he is our first grandchild and maybe because he is our first boy but I have a very difficult time ever telling him no. I get into a lot of trouble with his mother on that one! Peyton is a lot like his father, he loves sports, as you can tell by the pictures.

This little guy is just a joy! He is currently Courtney's youngest, she is due to have number 6 in about a month. It's hard to take a bad picture of this kid, he loves the camera!
Tayt, what can I say about T, he is quiet and slow and steady and comes up with some of the most hilarious comments! He was talking to his cousin Luke the other day about drinking beer! He sounded like an old man! And it is extremely hard to get after him because he looks at you with those big brown eyes and you just can't yell at him! It's impossible!

These two belong to our youngest daughter Mallory, Luke and Jax. Lukey has more energy and endurance then all of Courtneys 5 put together. He is the energizer bunny, he never stops! And little Jax is just a happy little guy who loves to smile!
This is Christopher and Mallory when Jax was born.

Here is David, Courtney's husband with a sleeping Nash

Chris with Lukey at Rock Dam.
Here's Dave and Chris at a ball game. They are both very good ball players and Randy and I love to go watch them play during the summer. Keeps our summer weekends busy!
And last but far from least Jacob with Lia and Austyn. He is Dave's brother and our daughter Casey's soon to be husband. He is priceless because of his patience for keeping up with Casey and her hilarious craziness! So there are all of our boys and whoever told us the boys will come later sure wasn't wrong! We are very lucky to have such wonderful guys in our lives!

Wisconsin Sky!

We are busy finishing up a kitchen and also heading to Iowa this weekend to fix some trim damage from a customer down there. Yes we are that crazy, two jobs going at one time, but the late nights and working all weekend pays off in the end. The kitchen is turning out just beautifully and I will have pictures in a few weeks when the homeowner has all his painting and tiling done. And the damage in Iowa that we are fixing is just sad. These people have a beautiful home which they have been so busy fixing up and just when they think they are done something went wrong with the air conditioner and in the end it sounds like it was putting humidity back into the house and way too much trim and woodwork warped and broke away from the walls. So we will be fixing and replacing this weekend and also putting in a new front door. Randy has built a few in the past and I can't wait to take pictures of this one. It is Craftsman Style and will be just beautiful! So in the mean time I have been playing with my camera and trying to get some pictures of some sunsets and clouds we have had in the past few weeks. Here are a few.

Black Hutch and Oak Kitchen

Here is the finished black hutch. It is approximately 8 feet tall by about 8 feet long. It sure looks pretty with all the Fall decorations on it! It is made from solid maple, painted black, edges sanded for an aged look and then varnished. It has 3/4" adjustable shelving and dovetailed drawers.
We also made this same customers oak kitchen about 9 years ago. Thanks so much for allowing us to take pictures!

Casey and Jacob!

I'd like to start out with apologizing for no photos of the big black hutch yet. We did deliver it but the customer asked if I could take pictures after she decorated it and we put handles on it for her. And I said of course because it will look even nicer with her decorations and pictures and things! And an added bonus I will be able to also take pictures of their kitchen which we did about 9 years ago. So I will have a few things to show you in a couple of days. Mean while I will show you pictures of our second daughter and her fiance. Our oldest daughter Courtney is an aspiring photographer and I went along to be her "wing man" as she puts it. We had lots of fun and really learned a lot about taking pictures! There is nothing like a day of being able to just play with the lighting and the settings on our cameras. Thanks Courtney for letting me tag along! And everyone should go to Courtneys blog and check out her pictures they are truly gorgeous! Her blog is http://www.buffaloesandbutterflies.blogspot.com/ I see a very busy future for her with her photography! Awesome job Court! Oh and the last picture, we couldn't forget Uncle Jakey with Lia and Austyn!
